Answer:

The setting of London Stevenson uses the setting to create a realistic in which Hyde could live.

Round the corner from the by-street, there was a square of ancient, handsome houses, now for the most part decayed from their high estate and let in flats and chambers to all sorts and conditions of men; map-engravers, architects, shady lawyers and the agents of obscure enterprises. One house, however, second from the corner, was still occupied entire; and at the door of this, which wore a great air of wealth and comfort, though it was now plunged in darkness except for the fanlight, Mr. Utterson stopped and knocked.

What is the painter's perspective of life? Copy a quote from the text to<br> support the answer.
kolbaska11 [484]

Answer:

“The painter's face curdled with scorn "You think I'm proud of this daub?" he said. "You think this is my idea of what life looks like?"

"What's your idea of what life looks like?" said the orderly.

The painter gestured at a foul drop cloth. "There's a good picture of it," he said. "Frame that, and you'll have a picture a d*** sight more honest than this one.”

Explanation:

The painter does not view life as enjoyable in any way. He views it to be as bad as a foul cloth. He knows that there is so much chaos, and that he is living only to die. This leads him to taking his own life, rather then letting the government take it from him; he doesn't view life as a "worth it" affair

what the best teachers to do get students to want to learn and try really hard. make a list. no links pls
worty [1.4K]

1. Tell them what's going to happen in the future, basic step-by-step instructions. For example, tell them to do good in Science, so they can get Earth Science next year.

2. Make a deal with them. For example, be like if you get your work done faster, then we will play a game at the end.

3. I think the most important thing for a teacher to do is to make their fun, so the students want to learn more, and in a fun way.

4. Teachers can set high expectations, this pushes students to do better, and actually feel like they can do it or make it.

5. If a teacher has a classroom routine, that makes it even easier, since the students already know what to do, then they will just get it done with.
