Answer:

b. None of the listed answers

Explanation:

EBITDA means earnings before interest , tax, depreciation and amortization, whereas operating is the gross profit minus all operating costs, since depreciation and amortization, which are operating costs would have been deducted in arriving at EBITDA, it means operating income and EBITDA are not the same.

Net income is gross profIt minus interest,tax ,depreciation and amortization, hence, it is a far cry from EBITDA.

Note also EBITDA is not recognized by generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) as a performance measure

You buy a share of The Ludwig Corporation stock for $21.70. You expect it to pay dividends of $1.00, $1.16, and $1.3456 in Years
Vesnalui [34]

Answer:

g = 16%

dividends yield:

Year 1 4.60%

Year 3: 4.78%

expected rate of return:

year 1 20.6%

year 3 20.78%

Explanation:

grow rate:

D1 /D0 = g

1.16/1.00 - 1 = 0.16

1.3456/1.16 - 1 = 0.16

the grow rate is 16%

dividend yield:

dividends/stock price = dividend yield

1/21.7 = 0,0460 = 4.60%

1.3456/28.15 = 0,04780 = 4.78%

expected rate of return:

dividend yield + grow rate

4.60% + 16% = 20.6%

4.78% + 16% = 20.78%

Troy will receive $7,500 at the end of Year 2. At the end of the following two years, he will receive $9,000 and $12,500, respec
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

$33,445.44

Explanation:

The future value of an investment is its worth at a future date if the investment is done at a specific interest rate compounded yearly for certain number of years

It is computed as follows:

FV = PV (1+r)^n

FV = Future Value, PV = present value, r- interest rate, n- number of years

Future value of $7500 after 3 years:

FV = 7500× (1.08)^3 = 9,447.84

Future Value of $9000 after 2 years:

FV = 9000 × (1.08^2) = $10,497.6

Future value of $12,500 after 1 year:

FV = 12500× 1.08 = $13,500

The future value of these cashflows at the end of year 5

= 9,447.8 + 10,497.6 + 13,500

= $33,445.44

A random sample of 900 individuals has been selected from a large population. It was found that 180 are regular users of vitamin
vlabodo [156]

Answer:

Question 1: The most correct option is option D, which is 0.0133

Question 2: Her data is a random sample from the population of interest.

Explanation: For the first question;

Standard error I the error in the standard deviation. To calculate standard error the formula is used.

S.E = Sd/√n

S.E = standard error

Sd= standard deviation = 0.2

n = number of occurrence = 180

The proportion of the regular users of vitamin among the 180 people is the standard deviation between them.

Using equation above.

S.E = 0.20 ÷ √180 =

0.20 ÷ 13.42 = 0.0149

S.E is 0.0149, when compared to the options, the most correct option is 0.0133, because the question states the answer to be approximately to which of the option.

QUESTION2:

Her research will have much error, because she chooses the car to count. Therefore the research procedure has not satisfied the process that will produce an accurate result. Since she has choosed the street to be her population of interest, all the cars in the street should be counted.

This is not a randomized controlled research, so selection of cars to count is not necessary.
