➩Reproduction:

Reproduction is a process by which living organism produce new organisms of same species (of their own kind)

Reproduction is neccessary for the survival and increase in population of species. It ensures continuity of various species on earth. In simple words if organisms will not reproduce there population will decrease and species will become extinct.

➽Mainly there are two types of Reproduction

(i) Sexual reproduction

(ii) Asexual reproduction

➩Sexual Reproduction

→ In sexual reproduction two individuals are involved to produce a new individual (male and female)

→The entire reproduction process takes longer time and more energy.

→ Population increases relatively slowly.

→ It involves more variations.

→ Species can adapt to an environment which changes.

→This leads to evolution.

→ For example:Homosapiens(Human beings)
