Answer: Life in the reserves was tough.

Explanation:

After several legislation passed by the United States government, many Indian communities were relocated to specific locations. Apart from the immorality of depriving the land of the people who had lived there for centuries, the Indians also faced other problems. The natives thus lost the nomadic way of life they had led for centuries. There were problems with cultivating the land. Many natives did not know new agricultural techniques such as irrigation systems. Sometimes enemy tribes were located nearby, which caused the creation of additional tensions among the tribes.

Which of the following statements is incorrect? Choose One:
Alisiya [41]

Answer:

The correct option is B,a material variance is one that will influence stockholders investment decisions

Explanation:

An information is material if its misstatement or omission from the financial reports influences the decisions taken by stakeholders while relying on the reports.

Such omission or misstatement  applies in financial reporting not management accounting which deals with information that are internal to the business, hence material variance stems from management accounts  which are not being used by shareholders in making their buy, sell or hold decisions.

Option A  is correct as how material(significant) or immaterial(insignificant) a variance should be considered in deciding whether it is worthy of investigation or not

Option C is also correct as standard costing provides a basis for consistency in cost determination.

andrezito [222]

Answer:

This is the so-called cross-race effect, or cross-race bias. It´s easier for us to recognize the faces of people of racial groups we are familiar with than to recognize the faces of people belonging to other cultures. We see the example here, Asians will more easily recognize other Asian people´s faces that faces of European people. And viceversa, many white people go to Asian countries and they have difficulties in telling faces one from another in the beginning. Only after you have spent some time, maybe one month or two months, you start telling differences which, of course, exist everywhere.
