Musya8 [376]3 years ago
5 0

Answer: conflict between expressing his individuality versus accepting the rules of equality imposed by the government

Explanation:

The main conflict that Harrison faced was between him and his society. In his society, the expression of talents and individuality wasn't acceptable as everyone was made equal. Those who were faster, smarter and more beautiful were handicapped and made equal to every other person. There was a buzzing sound anytime a person tried to show his or her individuality or talents.

Harrison, was a naturally strong man, but wasn't allowed to express himself as he was even arrested for plotting to overthrow the government according to the government. He's a genius and an athlete but was handicapped.

Which line form “to my dear loving husband” contains metaphor
FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer

The metaphor you are looking for is “My love is such that rivers cannot quench”

Explanation

The metaphor is used in the sentence as an implied comparison. As in the present verse. there is an implicit comparison of “my love” with fire. Thus by saying that even a large amount of water like “rivers” cannot quench my love reveals that the poet’s love is everlasting and it remains substantial.
