Banks often suffered in the 1930s and lost money because they could not
erica [24]
Banks failed in the 1930's because when the stock market crashed in 1929, they had lost thousands of dollars. You see, the banks had invested their customer's money in the stock market and lost it all when it crashed. Then, people came looking for their money to pay off their own debt, but the banks couldn't because they themselves did not have any money. So banks often suffered because they were in debt.

How did they use medicine while the civil war?
Bezzdna [24]
<span>Medicine in the United States was woefully behind Europe. Harvard Medical School did not even own a single stethoscope or microscope until after the war. Most Civil War surgeons had never treated a gun shot wound and many had never performed surgery. Medical boards admitted many "quacks," with little to no qualification.</span>

Which is one advantage of using Navajo as a military code language?
Alika [10]

Option A is the right answer, that 'since few people understood it, it was a difficult code to break'.

Code Talkers in the 20th century were the people who used the Navajo language as the method of coded communication during wartime. This language Navajo helped U.S Marine Corps to transmit coded messages without any breach with the help of U.S natives, who used their expertise in this language. Because of its pronunciation, Navajo language was difficult to break.

In fact, the U.S Marine Corps concluded that at the beginning of the second World War,  the Navajo language was known to even less "than thirty non-Navajos".
