F the trends in the population pyramids continue, what will the population of germany look like in 20 or 50 years
Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Germany is well known to have big problems with the aging population, and its very low fertility rate. This contributes to a highly deformed population pyramid, where the lowest part of the pyramid is becoming thinner and thinner, while the middle section is significantly increasing, as well as the upper part of the pyramid that becomes thicker and thicker because of the long lifespan in the country.

In the next twenty years, Germany will face stagnation in the number of population, and this will be because the minorities (mainly the Muslims) will be balancing the numbers because of their very high fertility rate. In the next 50 years, with this trend, we will witness a big drop in the numbers of the ethnic Germans, and very big increase in the numbers of the minorities (mainly Muslims) which will also contribute to the country's population to start to increase again.

What do you know about the Reform movements of the differences between the North and South before the Civil War?
Gwar [14]

Answer:

The North was extremelyindustrialized while the South relied heavily on slavery and agriculture. The North often bought food from the South due to the poor conditions of soil in the North. This was how the South contributed to the economy and continued using slaves up until the events of the Civil War.

Due to the North having no need for slave labor and instead freeing the slaves, Northerners tended to protest against the use of slavery and found distaste in it. Meanwhile, in the South, Southerners relied very much on slave labor and, as a result, saw it as okay and wanted slavery to stay. The government was trying very hard to compromise, but slavery clearly isn't an issue that you can compromise on.
