Answer:

Hypothetically, the job of a firefighter might seem fun. However, upon closer look, you might see that the role of a firefighter requires hard work and determination. I stared at the windowsill as the stench of smoke made my nose wrinkle and the consistent screaming made my ears ring. I couldn't convey the amount of panic I felt at that moment, staring at the child in the window of the apartment. Connotationally, the job of the firefighter felt joyous, always being the center of attention. However, after being restated as a denotation, you realize it is much more than being the center of attention. After a dispute between a couple, the husband had set the entire apartment on fire. The look in the child's eyes evoked something within me, and I rushed to grab the ladder on my firetruck. I swung it towards the windowsill. The child was obviously scared by me climbing the ladder, and refuted by shaking his head. I stuck to my original concept and grabbed the kid, and though he squirmed, I managed to bring him back down to safety.

At the end of Chapter 7 everyone in the city thinks Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dally are heroes because they saved the little kids fro
Ahat [919]

Answer:

I believe that Pony and Johnny are still heroes. Even though they started the fire, they learned from their mistakes. They still saved 8 children (I believe) from burning to death. Johnny (spoiler) even dies from trying to save the children and getting them out safely. They are heroes. Dally on the other hand isn't. It even says so in the book.

Answer:

Jordan’s topic is acceptable, but it is not in the correct format.

Explanation:

Jordan's task is to write a narrative essay about a significant experience with a family member that has shaped his identity. A narrative essay is an essay written in the form of a story, often about a personal experience. While Jordan chose an acceptable topic (Andre is his cousin, which means that he is a member of Jordan's family, and he significantly influenced him), the format he chose is wrong. A letter isn't an example of a narrative essay, which is why Jordan should use a different format.
