Answer and Explanation:

There are four types of sentences: imperative sentences, declarative sentences, exclamatory sentences and interrogative sentences.

Here we look at imperative sentences and exclamatory sentences.

While Imperative sentences, also called directives, are used to issue commands and make requests, exclamatory sentences are used to express increased emotion.

Imperative sentences can be confused with exclamatory sentences because imperative sentences may end with exclamation points just like exclamatory sentences. Imperative sentences end with exclamatory sentences when a directive or instruction is said with emotion(shouted for example)and therefore has an exclamation point.

Imperative and exclamatory sentences using the events include:

1. Imperative sentence: Go and cross the Missouri River.

Exclamatory sentence: Get to the Missouri River now!

2. Imperative sentence: Get ready to dig channels for the boats.

Exclamatory sentence: Start digging the channels for the boats right now!

3. Imperative sentence: Let us go and see the hundreds of squirrels at the park

Exclamatory sentence: Hundreds of squirrels were ran over at the highway!

6. Choose one character from the novel that you feel best fits the explanation of
Amiraneli [1.4K]
Atticus Finch and Boo Radley. These men to me are considered mockingbirds. When thinking of mockingbirds I get a sense of innocence. Atticus is above all the other adults around him and he is kindly defending and respecting Boo as he does everyone else. Boo Radley is also a mockingbird because he was wrongly accused of sexual assault even though knowing his character he didn’t do it. His testimony was very powerful and eye opening.

Which text evidence BEST supports that Jacqueline overcame personal obstacles to become a writer?
VikaD [51]

Answer:

I can't read the whole text. Part of your picture is cut off. But from what I can read, it sounds like the first answer would be convincing, the second answer would be confident, the third answer would be scary, and the fourth answer would be a party or fun. That is just from the part that I can read.
