The floods brought wealthy black soil onto banks of the Nile River, then it became more possible for the farmers to grow their crops. The Nile was also a transportation from place to place.

It created fertile soil near the banks which allowed for farming and it also provided means of tratransportation and the obvious use of a near by water source for drinking,cleaning,showering,etc
