Why are the dominant primary producers in the ocean microscopic while the primary producers on land are usually much larger orga
sp2606 [1]
In terrestrial ecosystems, primary producers constitute the great biomass, and they are often large such as trees. However, the primary producers in marine ecosystems is a direct contrast to the primary producers in land. The dominant primary producers in the ocean are the phytoplankton which are microscopic. Land primary producers are bigger because biomass is highly conserve like in woody plants. While the marine primary producers are involved in a lot of process either by consumers or reducers. As a result, they are smaller.

Imagine that you are standing at the North Pole and see a star directly overhead. Where do you think the star would be if you we
Triss [41]

Answer: On the Northern horizon

Explanation:

If the star is directly overhead when you stand at the North Pole, it will sink further and further the more you move south towards the equator due to the earth's curve. When you get to the equator, the star will ideally sit right on the northern horizon.

After one crosses the equator however, the star will disappear from view. It is therefore not possible to see this star from anywhere south of the Equator to the South Pole.

-Explain how genes and heredity can partially explain behavior and physical attributes
Dimas [21]

Explanation:

heredity determines some of the physical aspects such as the color of the eyes, the hair ,the skin etc

it also influences height and diseases and also personality

heredity also influences behavior since eg a son may have the same qualities such as braveness from his father

genes tend to change according to the environmental conditions eg when the early man started to light fire the fur from his skin shed hence that is a genetic mutation which is a change in genes caused by environmental chnges
