What is the equation of the line parallel to 8y+6x=16 and goes through (12,-9)

Answer:

The equation is y = (-3/4)x

Explanation:

8y = 16 - 6x

y = 2 - (3/4)x

m = -3/4

(12,-9)

y = mx + c

-9 = -3/4(12) + c

-9 = -9 + c

c = 0

y = (-3/4)x
