Answer:

Number of cinammon = 12

Number of chocolate = 21

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

Cost of Cinnamon candle , c = $3.50

Cost of chocolate candle , d = $2.50

Total amount raised, T = $94.50

d = 2c - 3

Total amount = (cost of Cinnamon * number sold) + (cost of chocolate * number sold)

94.50 = (3.50 * c) + (2.50 * (2c-3))

94.50 = 3.50c + 5c - 7.5

94.50 = 8.50c - 7.5

94.50 + 7.5 = 8.50c

102 = 8.50c

c = 102 / 8.50

c = 12

d = 2c - 3

d = 2(12) - 3

d = 24 - 3

d = 21

Three consecutive integers are such that three times the smallest is 14 more than the largest
Over [174]

Answer:

8, 9 and 10

Step-by-step explanation:

We would have to find the 3 consecutive integers.

Consecutive integers are one after another, such as:

1, 2, 3, ... etc.

So, if we let the first integer be "x", the next one is 1 unit apart, so next one would be:

x + 1

Next one:

x + 2

So, we have 3 consecutive integers:

x, x + 1, x + 2

It is given, 3 times smallest (x) is 14 MORE THAN largest (x + 2). So we can write:

3x = x + 2 + 14

Now we solve for x:

3x = x + 2 + 14\\3x=x+16\\3x-x=16\\2x=16\\x=\frac{16}{2}\\x=8

So, the integers are:

8, 9 and 10

The complete question in the attached figure

we know that
[scale]=0.5/12
[scale]=[copy of a painting]/[original painting]

dimensions copy of a painting--------------> 1.75 in x 5.25 in

for 1.75 in
[original painting]=[copy of a painting]/[scale]
[original painting]=[1.75]/[(0.5/12)]=42 cm

for 5.25 in
[original painting]=[copy of a painting]/[scale]
[original painting]=[5.25]/[(0.5/12)]=126 cm

the answer Part A) is
the dimensions of the original painting are 42 cm x 126 cm

Part B)
Find the area of the original painting.
[area of the original painting]=42*126=5292 cm²

the answer Part B) is
area of the original painting is 5292 cm²

Part C)
One centimeter is equal to approximately 0.033 foot. Find the dimensions of the original painting in feet.

the dimensions of the original painting are 42 cm x 126 cm
then

for 42 cm
