Answer:

X =224

Y= -10

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this question it's better to convert the fractions to decimals this way it will be easy to solve.

0.25x+0.6y= -4

0.2x+0.25y=-0.9

0.2(0.25x+0.6y=-4)

0.25(0.2x+0.25y=-0.9)

0.05x+0.12y=-0.8

0.05x+0.06y=-0.225

0.0575y/0.0575=-0.575/0.0575

Y=-10

To find x you replace the value of y in any of the equations

0.25x+0.6y=-4

0.25x+0.6(-10)=-4

0.25x=-4+60

0.25x/0.25=56/0.25

X=224

I hope this helps and sorry if it's wrong

If 6 is added to twice a number and this sum is multiplied by 5, the result is the same as if the number is multiplied by negat
lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

  -2

Step-by-step explanation:

We assume you want to find the number. Let it be represented by x.

  (6+2x)·5 = -3x +4 . . . . . the meaning of the problem statement

  30 +10x = -3x +4 . . . . . eliminate parentheses

  26 +13x = 0 . . . . . . . . . add 3x-4 to both sides

  2 + x = 0 . . . . . . . . . . . . divide by 13

  x = -2 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . subtract 2

The number is -2.

Please help I can’t figure it out

Answer: -4

Step-by-step explanation: Notice that the increments in the graph do not go in 1's, but in 2's. Meaning the first line is 2, and second line is 4, and in the middle is 3. Be careful.

The range is where the line on the graph hits the y-axis (horizontal line, or line going up). The only possible place the line hits the y-axis is at -4. No other y-value. Thus, the range of the function is -4.

Find the center-radius form of the equation of the circle described.
Kitty [74]

Answer:

Correct answer:  (x-√2)² + (y-√5)² = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data: Center (x,y) = (√2,√5) and r = √3

The canonical or cartesian form of the equation of the circle is:

( x-p )² + ( y-q )² = r²

Where p is the x coordinate of the center, q is the y coordinate of the center and r is the radius of the circle.

God is with you!!!

The actual length of side y is 22cm. Use the scale drawing to find the length of side x.
kozerog [31]

Given:

The actual length of side y is 22cm.

To find:

The length of side x by using the scale drawing.

Solution:

We know that the corresponding sides of original figure and scale drawing are proportional.

\dfrac{x}{1.8}=\dfrac{y}{1.4}

\dfrac{x}{1.8}=\dfrac{22}{1.4}

x=\dfrac{22}{1.4}\times 1.8

x\approx 28.286

Therefore, the length of side x is about 28.286 cm.
