General Assembly is one of the most important bodies of United Nations. It is consisted out of every member of the United Nations. Its assemblies at least once a year at its headquarters in New York.
It brings some of the vital decisions for the United Nations.
It has been called the "town meeting of the world." Its specific duties include the election of the members of the Economic and Social Council, the board of the UN Industrial Development Organization, and some members of the Trusteeship Council.
