With earths core being very very hot it is plasma which is lava   but its comes closer to the surface and cools downs to become a solid.

The Great Dismal Swamp is an example as it has quite a number of trees and shrubs. Check the attached picture.

Herbaceous Wetlands on the other hand are dominated by plants considered to be herbaceous in nature. This means that they dominated by grass and plants that are not very woody above the ground. The Florida Everglades are an example of this. I have also attached a picture. The Florida Everglades is the one that looks more like grasses.
