It is commonly said that the ovulation stage coincides with the full moon stage. In the same way, menstruation occurs when there is a new moon.

What really occurs is that the feminine period might or might not coincides with the moon cycle, and depends on each woman. But this is not a strict rule.

The duration of a woman´s cycle depends on every woman, on the raze, on the age, among many other factors. The fact that sometimes the feminine cycle coincides with the moon cycle, does not mean that the moon determines the cycle stages in a woman.
