i don't think it will work

Explanation:

because in order to lose weight, you have to do more than one stretch because weight loss takes multiple steps and not just one exercise, it would also involve you to eat healthy and to increase the pace, your friend could go running, do yoga, eat healthier, drink more water, and do more than just a core workout and etcetera.
