The country was in pretty bad shape, and people were desperate to find a great leader who would help put the country back into good shape. It didn't matter who it was, as long as they promised to do things to change the country, and people just went with that because of how desperate they were.
Example Community Problems: Adolescent pregnancy, access to clean drinking water, child abuse and neglect, crime, domestic violence, drug use, environmental contamination, ethnic conflict, health disparities, HIV/ AIDS, hunger, inadequate emergency services, inequality, jobs, lack of affordable housing, poverty, racism.I will pick crime,gun crime in USA is in bad shape compared to many other countries of the world.Outright buying of guns in the shops should be stopped.Illegal sale of guns should be stopped,the police need to improve their intelligence to do this.Sale of guns in shops should be made illegal.Fund to do this should come from the tax money.Gun factories in USA should be decreased and we should aim for a peaceful society free from gun culture of USA.
