To understand what a negative prefix is, it is great to first know what an affirmative statement is since it is the opposite of a negative prefix. An affirmative statement a sentence that is positive, regarding the term 'affirmative' that also means positive. It's quite easy to guess what a negative prefix is, prefix relating to adding a word or letter(s) to the beginning of a word to change the meaning of it, while negative.. well, you can guess what that is.
