Answer:

Daniel is rollerblading at 15 miles per hour

Daniel can go 3 miles in 12 minutes so we do 12÷3 to find out how many minutes it takes to go 1 mile which is 4 now we do 60÷4 to get 15

Alternatively we could do 60÷12 to get 5 then do 3×5 to get 15

Sorry for not giving you the calculation here -

5/12 and 2/9 have denominators divisible by only 3 right? Well The common denominator that can then change is 3 because that's the only number they have in common (except 1)

Answer: 35 more times
How: (if she gets 60 points for each grocery store visit then first do 2580-480=2100. she still needs 2100 points so then 2100/60 = 35 grocery visits!)

Answer:

1806 seats.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question given above, the following data were obtained:

Row 1 = 24 seats

Row 2 = 27 seats

Row 3 = 30 seats

Total roll = 28

Total number of seat =?

From the above data, we can liken the roll to be in arithmetic progress.

Also, we are asked to determine the total number of seats in the theater.

Thus the sum of the sequence can be written as:

Roll 1 + Roll 2 + Roll 3 +... + Roll 28 i.e

24 + 27 + 30 +...

Thus, we can obtain obtained the total number of seats in the theater by applying the sum of arithmetic progress formula. This can be obtained as follow:

First term (a) = 24

Common difference (d) = 2nd term – 1st term

Common difference (d) = 27 – 24 = 3

Number of term (n) = 28

Sum of the 28th term (S₂₈) =?

Sₙ = n/2 [2a + (n –1)d]

S₂₈ = 28/2 [2×24 + (28 –1)3]

S₂₈ = 14 [48 + 27×3]

S₂₈ = 14 [48 + 81]

S₂₈ = 14 [129]

S₂₈ = 1806

Thus, the number of seats in the theater is 1806.

Alinara [238K]
Okay, so basically we have:
w as width; and 6+w as length

Perimeter=2w+2l

just substitute it with the values of width and length

P=2w+2(6+w)
P=2w+12+2w
P=4w+12

So, the answer is letter B.
