6 19/24

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. Find the LCM(lowest common multiple) of 3 and 8 which is 24
  2. Multiply the denominator of 2/3 by 8 and 1/8 by 3
  3. Whatever you do to the denominator you have to do to the numerator, so you also have to multiply the numerator of 2/3 by 8 and 1/8 by 3 = 2 16/24 + 4 3/24
  4. Add the whole numbers (4+2= 6)
  5. Add the fractions (16/24 + 3/24= 19)
  6. Put them together and the answer is 6 19/24

Mrrafil [7]

Answer:

10.14 years

Step-by-step explanation:

The following equation describes the percentage of all eligible voters that are registered to vote as a function of time:

V=100-30e^{-0.04t}

The time 't' for which V(t) = 80 is the amount of years required for the percentage of registered voters to reach 80%:

80=100-30e^{-0.04t}\\\frac{20}{30}= e^{-0.04t}\\ln(\frac{2}{3})=-0.04t*ln(e)\\ t=10.14\ years

It will take 10.14 years until 80% of all eligible voters in your county are registered to vote
