Explanation:

In this poem by Dylan Thomas, the poet offered his views and beliefs on how best he felt that death should be tackled. Speaking generally, he noted how wise men, wild men, and grave men handled the reality of death. They never stopped fighting. At the concluding part of the poem, he more specifically narrowed the talk about the different types of men to his father who was apparently in his death bed.

He urged and strengthened his father to fight death which was upon him. He did not want his father to give up.
