ponyboy is the protagonist of the book the outsiders by by s.e hinton. ponyboy's about 14 years old and is a greaser. he has two brothers named darry and sodapop.

if you're asking about personality, he doesn't really have that much of one in the beginning of the novel (from what i can remember). he pretty much acts like a sterotypical 14 year old boy until the novel continues. he eventually matures and becomes a brave young man.
