Simplest polynomial function is x^4-x^3-11x^2+9x+18.

Solution:

Given data:

Zeroes are 3i, –1, 2.

3i is a complex root of the function.

If 3i is a zero of the polynomial then –3i is also a zero of the polynomial.

Therefore zeroes are 3i, –3i –1, 2.

By factor theorem,

If a is zero of the function, then (x – a) is a factor of the polynomial.

So, the factors are (x – 3i), (x + 3i), (x + 1), (x –2).

On multiplying the factors, we get the polynomial.

(x - 3i) (x + 3i) (x + 1) (x -2)

            =(x^2+3ix-3ix+(3i)^2)(x^2-2x+x-2)

            =(x^2-9)(x^2-x-2)

Since the value of i^2=-1

            =x^2(x^2-x-2)-9(x^2-x-2)

            =x^4-x^3-2x^2-9x^2+9x+18

            =x^4-x^3-11x^2+9x+18

Simplest polynomial function is x^4-x^3-11x^2+9x+18.

The following information was collected from a simple random sample of a population. 16 19 18 17 20 18. The point estimate of th
Kruka [31]

Answer:( c ) 1.414

Step-by-step explanation:

Let m be mean

M=mean=sum/n

M= (16+19+18+17+20+18) / 6

M=108/6

M=18

Let start finding:

The standard deviation formula is= sqrt( Summation of |x-m|^2 / n-1)

|x-m|^2

For 1st: |16-18|^2=4

For 2nd: |19-18|^2=1

For 3rd: |18-18|^2=0

For 4th: |17-18|^2=1

For 5th: |20-18|^2=4

For 6th: |18-18|^2=0

Summation of |x-m|^2 =10

The standard deviation formula is :

S.D = sqrt( Summation of |x-m|^2 / n-1)

S.D= sqrt(10 / 5)

S.D=sqrt(2)

S.D= 1.414

The surface area of a prism is 125 in2. the 2 is suposed to be cubed or squared or whatever
Rasek [7]
Surface area is area so it's in^2 or inches squared
12 in=1 foot therfor
1in<1 foot
so therfor if we converted the surface area to feet, then the number would decrease, but the actual area would stay the same because we just converted the units, we didn't change the actuall area

therfor the answers are A and E

Plsssss HELP me my exam is tomorrow
Charra [1.4K]

Answer:

6

Step-by-step explanation:

\sqrt{3} * \sqrt{12} =   \sqrt{3} * \sqrt{4} * \sqrt{3}\\\sqrt{4} = \sqrt{2*2} = 2\\\\

Therefore, \sqrt{3} * \sqrt{4} * \sqrt{3} = \sqrt{3} * 2 * \sqrt{3}\\\sqrt{3} * \sqrt{3} * 2 = 3 * 2 = 6
