Answer:

Length of the rectangle =25

width of the rectangle = 20

Step-by-step explanation:

Step(i):-

Let 'x' be the width of the rectangle

Given that the length of a rectangle is 5 m more than its width

Given that Area of the rectangle = 500m²

length of a rectangle = x +5

width of a rectangle = x

Step(ii):-

Area of the rectangle = length × width

             500 = x ( x+5)

          x² + 5 x = 500

      ⇒ x² + 5 x - 500 =0

      ⇒ x² +25x - 20 x - 500 =0

    ⇒ x( x+25) -20(x+25) =0

  ⇒ (x-20)(x+25) =0

⇒ x =20 and x=-25

we can choose x =20

Step(iii):-

Length of the rectangle = x +5 = 20 +5 =25

width of the rectangle = 20

Final answer:-

Length of the rectangle =25

width of the rectangle = 20

Given: f(x) = 3x-7, g(x)=2x2 -3x+1, h(x)=4x+1, k(x) =-x2+3 Find: k(x) +g(x)
Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

k(x) + g(x) = x² - 3x + 4

General Formulas and Concepts:

Alg I

  • Combining like terms

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Define

f(x) = 3x - 7

g(x) = 2x² - 3x + 1

h(x) = 4x + 1

k(x) = -x² + 3

Step 2: Find k(x) + g(x)

  1. Substitute: k(x) + g(x) = -x² + 3 + 2x² - 3x + 1
  2. Combine like terms (x²): k(x) + g(x) = x² + 3 - 3x + 1
  3. Combine like terms (Z): k(x) + g(x) = x² - 3x + 4

Does anyone know how to solve this?
Bezzdna [24]

Use this version of the Law of Cosines to find side b:

b^2 = a^2 + c^2 − 2ac cos(B)

We want side b.

b^2 = (41)^2 + (20)^2 - 2(41)(20)cos(36°)

After finding b, you can use the Law of Sines to find angles A and C or use other forms of the Law of Cosines to find angles A and C.
