Some reason why I wouldn’t want to get a pet would be, pets can be messy, you have to clean up after them everywhere including your home or out in public. You must make sure they have food and water access. If you have a dog you must walk it or let it out to use the bathroom. If you have a cat you must make sure they have a litter box for it’s business, you also have to clean the litter box and dispose of its droppings appropriately. Any pets involving a cage like a bird, ferret, guinea pig, hamster, etc. their cages have to be cleaned. It takes a lot of responsibility and time to take care of a pet. And not to forget about food for them, food costs money for them so be prepared to buy food. Something you must also be prepared for is the vet, if your animal is sick or is hurt you’ll have to go to a vet or you could ask someone what you can do to help but it would be better to see a vet. With a vet that also cost’s money and appointment scheduling is also a big responsibility, if you forget about the appointment you will have to reschedule, and you should be on time to appointments. As stated before it takes lots of responsibility, time and effort to have a pet.

Why did many African Americans want to move away from using this specific dialect in works of literature?
Harlamova29_29 [7]

Answer: In the 1960s, the South was a place African Americans fled, seeking better jobs and better lives in the North in what was known as the Great Migration. But in recent years that flow has switched and led to what’s become known as the Great Reverse Migration, with large numbers of African-Americans moving South again.
