The answer is D. I’m assuming this is surface area so here’s my explanation:) ok so the area of the triangle is 6 (4x3 divided by 2) and when you add the other triangle that’s 12. Ok so we have 12 so far. Then the area of the bottom rectangle is 24 (3x8). Then the area of the side rectangle is 32 (4x8). THEN the top rectangle’s area is 40 (8x5). When you add the numbers up (12+24+32+40) you get 108! And of course dont forget the cm2. ( centimeters squared ). :) I hope this helps

What is the approximate volume of a cylinder with a diameter of 28 ft and height of 20 ft? Use 3.14 to approximate π , round to
jarptica [38.1K]
The answer is V= 12315.04

Volume of cylinder is V=πr2h

Radius is 14, 28/2 =14

Plug into the equation,

π(14)^2 (20)

14^2 = 196(20) = 3920

3920*3.14(pi) = 12315.04

An airplane takes off from an airport. When the
Ivanshal [37]

The angle of elevation is = 70° and the distance the airplane travelled in the air is = 17,557ft

Calculation of the distance travelled

 • To calculate the angle of elevation of the airplane

tan x° = opposite/adjacent

where opposite = 16,500 feet

adjacent = 6,000 ft

tan x° = 16,500 / 6,000

tan x° = 2.75

X = arctan ( 2.75)

X = 70°

 • To calculate the distance the airplane travelled in the air Pythagorean Theorem is used.

C² = a² + b²

C² = 16,500² + 6,000²

C² = 272250000 + 36000000

C² = 308250000

C= √308250000

C= 17,557ft

If X = 2 centimeters, Y = 4 centimeters, and Z = 6 centimeters, what is the area of the object?
Tatiana [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

the shape is a trpizoid with height y

A=(a+b)/2 *h (a=2x=4cm, h=y=4cm, b=2z=12 cm

A=(4+12)/2 * 4

Area=16/2 *4=8*4= 32 cm²

A bag contains 6 white marblesw and 4 black marbles.a marble is drawn from the bag and then a second marble is drawn without rep
Katena32 [7]

Answer:

60.5%

Step-by-step explanation:

60% white, 40% black

The first draw you have a 60% chance drawing a white marble, the second time you have a 55% chance since you already drew one in the first round. so i think it is 60.5%% chance drawing white on both rounds since I add 60+55=121. 121/200=60.5%
