(Write sentences in the preterite, using the cues and adding por or para where appropriate.)
maxonik [38]

Answer:

POR and PARA are prepositions often confused.

POR expresses the cause of something, it gives an explanation or reason.

PARA refers to the result of an action, it shows when a subject or object receives the result of an action expressed by the verb, that is aimed at something or somewhere. It is also used to refer to the complemento indirecto.

Explanation:

1. Ricardo y Emilia trajeron un pastel para su prima.

2. Los turistas llegaron a las ruinas por barco.

3. (Yo) Tuve resfriado por el frío.

4. Mis amigas ganaron dinero para viajar a Suramérica.

5. Ustedes buscaron a Teresa por toda la playa.

6. El avión salió a las doce para Buenos Aires.

Pierre y Marie son do Paris. Son _____
sashaice [31]
I believe this is asking you to use an adjective to describe people who are from France. In English: "French". This is how it works in Spanish: SINGULAR: If it were one person: - Masculine: *frances* [with accent on *e*] - Feminine: *francesa* PLURAL: Two or more people: - Masculine: *franceses* - Masculine and feminine together (e.g. a boy and a girl): *franceses* - Feminine (only girls or women): *francesas* So, considering Pierre is male and Marie is female, could you guess what your answer should be...? hope this helps

Hay varios estacionamientos cerca de la oficina, ____ el estacionamiento de la compañía del señor Gómez. a. busque b. busca c. b
viktelen [127]
Hello there!

Hay varios estacionamientos cerca de la oficia, a. busque el estacionamiento de la compañía del señor Gómez.

In this sentence the word "busca" could be used and the sentence would still be grammatically correct. I chose "busque" because it seems to me like the conversation is happening between strangers and not friends, therefore "usted" is the correct way to address the person.
