To give brainliest, you must meet the following criteria.
1) Your question must have 2 answers. The brainliest option will appear, and you can choose the one you think addresses your answer correctly as brainliest.
2) You have one answer, and nobody else answers for a couple of days. I am not 100% sure exactly when, but I believe you will need to wait 2 weeks to give a brainliest if nobody else answers.
There will be a button that appears (depending on the update, as well as if you are mobile or website) either next to the heart and stars button, or on top section. Simply click the button, and it will mark brainliest.
One thing to note when giving brainliests, is that it also gives extra points to the one marked brainliest. This is where the " + __ points" come in. 25% of the points will be added on top of the points given originally. On top of that, the original poster will get 25% of the points refunded as well.
