When I write compare and contrast essays what are usually do is the great introduction paragraph for your first paragraph then for your second paragraph you could do like you're comparing for your third paragraph you could write what you're contrasting about them for your fourth you could write a few sentences of what you were comparing and contrasting never your fifth paragraph you could just do like your conclusion like my teacher used to make me do two sentences so like one would be the conclusion sentence and then the second one would be like why this works I believe
