Two figures are similar if one can be mapped onto the other by rigid rotation, reflection, and translation. Two figures are similar if one can be mapped onto the other by rotation, reflection, translation, or dilation/rescaling. That is, they're similar if one is congruent to a rescaling of the other.

Solve the equation y-12=4y
andre [41]
Hi there!

y - 12=4y

We need to subtract 4y from both sides

y-12-4y = 4y - 4y

3y - 12=0

3y = 0 + 12

3y=12

Divide both sides by 3

-3y/3 = 12/-3

y= -4

Answer:

D. f(t) = 192,345(1.04)^t

Step-by-step explanation:

I took the test and it was right.

Also that is the original price and when you look at exponential functions, the starting point or original price is always first the then rate of increase. The table just shows how it increased in year 1 and 2.

Hope this helps. :)

Can you guys help me with fractions I forgot over the summer. Please explain easily.
lisabon 2012 [21]
So in order to add the fractions together you need to first find a common denominator. For the very first problem you can use 63 as a denominator because 7*9=63. Now for the numerator. So you have 4/7 and 8/9. We just multiplied 7 by 9 so now we need to do that for 4 also. 4*9=36. Now we have 36/63. For 8/9 we multiply 8 by 7 to get 56. Now we have 36/63 + 56/63. Once you add those together you simplify your answer.
