Answer:

No, the shape is not a rectangle.

Step-by-step explanation:

A rectangle is a 2-dimensional shape with two sets of parallel sides and four right angles. Shape a has both sets of parallel sides, but the corners of the figure are not right angles. It is a rhombus. So, the answer is no, the shape is not a rectangle.

in 2003 the population of zimbawe was about 12.6 million people wich is 1 million more than 4 times the population in1950.write
WITCHER [35]
12.6 million = 4p + 1 million
to solve:
12.6 million - 1 million = 4p + 1 million - 1 million
11.6 million/4 = 4p/4
2.9 million = p
the population in 1950 was approximately 2.6 million

Product of four in the decreased by 14 times 6 gives 18
fenix001 [56]

I'm guessing we are solving for a unknown variable? This question is hard to understand, if you are not solving for a unknown variable than tell me in the comments and ill fix my answer

(X*4-14)*6=18

If I am correct your answer is 4.25

(4.25x4-14)*6=18

If I did the problem wrong than tell me. To me this question makes no sense so i'm not sure if I did it wrong.

Can someone explain how to work this out please ?
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

x=4

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = (x-2)^5  +3

Let f(x) = 35

35 = (x-2)^5  +3

Subtract 3 from each side

35-3 = (x-2)^5  +3-3

32 = (x-2)^5

Take the fifth root of each side

32 ^ (1/5) =  (x-2)^5^ 1/5

2 = x-2

Add 2 to each side

2 +2 = x-2+2

4 =x

The solution to a system of linear equations is (-3,-3) Which system of linear equations has this point as its solution? x -5y=-
Ann [662]

Answer:

x-5y=12 and 3x+2y=-15

Step-by-step explanation:

The first system is

x-5y=-12 and 3x+2y=-15

We substitute x=-3 and y=-3

-3-5*-3=12\ne-12 and 3*-3+2*-3=-15

Both equations are not satisfied

The next system is

x-5y=12 and 3x+2y=-15

We substitute x=-3 and y=-3

-3-5*-3=12 and 3*-3+2*-3=-15\ne15

Both equations are satisfied

The next system is

x-5y=-12 and 3x+2y=15

We substitute x=-3 and y=-3

-3-5*-3=12\ne12 and 3*-3+2*-3=-15

Both equations are not satisfied

The next system is

x-5y=12 and 3x+2y=15

We substitute x=-3 and y=-3

-3-5*-3=12\ne-12 and 3*-3+2*-3=-15

Both equations are  not satisfied
