Answer:

m∠3 = 112° m∠5 = 38° m∠6 = 68° m∠8 = 74°

You do the others

Step-by-step explanation:

Facts you need to solve this problem.

1. Vertical angles are congruent

2. Alternate interior angles are congruent when lines are parallel

3. Sum of the measures of the angles of a triangle is 180

4. Adjacent angles are supplementary when two lines intersect

m∠3 = 112° (Reason 1 above)

m∠6 = 180 - 112 = 68° (Reason 4)

m∠6 + m∠5 + 74 = 180° (Reason 3)

68 + m∠5 + 74 = 180

142 + m∠5 = 180

m∠5 = 38°

m∠8 = 74° (Reason 2)

That gives you a start, so I will let you find all the others. OK? I know you don't want to do that, but you need to be able to do this type of problem. Now, go for it!!

M ∠1 = ?

40
50
130

pls help!!
snow_tiger [21]

Answer:

40

Step-by-step explanation:

In the triangle, there is a 90 degree angle and Angle 1 (what we are looking for) and the other angle, lets call is Angle 2.

Lets find Angle 2 first.

First of all, the angle between angle 40 and 90 can be found easily.

That angle (lets call it "x) and 40 and 90 make a straight angle (180 degrees). So we can write:

40 + x + 90 = 180

Lets solve for "x":

40 + x + 90 = 180

130 + x = 180

x = 180 - 130

x = 50

Now, This angle (50) and Angle 2 are same [vertical angles]

So,

Angle 2 = 50

Now, there are 180 degrees in 3 angles in a triangle. So for the triangle shown, we cacn write:

90 + Angle 1 + Angle 2 = 180

90 + Angle 1 + 50 = 180

Angle 1 + 140 = 180

Angle 1 = 180 - 140

Angle 1 = 40

Need #47 and #48 asap!!
20 pts!!
sergey [27]

Answer:

47-Step-by-step explanation:

X=121 because they are vertical angles

48- first divide 96 by 6 together the surface area of each side which is equal 16 then to find the length and the width find the square root of 16 which is 4 because it is a cube the length/width/height are all equal to four. So do 4 x 4 x 4 to find the volume of one cube. Which is equal to 64 then multiple by 8 to get the total volume 512cm^3

Which algebraic expression is equivalent-2(4x-5y-5x)
Art [367]
First combine like terms in parentheses. 4x-5x = -1x. Now -1x - 5y should be in the parentheses. Now use the distributive property and multiply both of those terms by 2. The product is -2x -10y so the answer is B.
