The alternator <em>(upper right) </em>is an essential component of a car that recharges the battery. In the situation above, it could either be not charging because <em>it has been damaged </em>or <em>it could also be that the car's battery is low. </em>In order to know which one is the problem, you have to <u><em>test the voltage reading while the engine is off</em></u>. A reading lower than 12 volts means that there's a problem with the battery. If you're confident that your battery's good, try to rev the engine to 2,000 revolutions per minute<em>(RPM)</em>. An alternator with a problem has a <u><em>decreasing voltage</em></u>.
The temperature <em>(lower right)</em> is high. This means that <u>you have to turn off the engine.</u>
The "fuel" <em>(upper left)</em> obviously needs to be refilled. It is already on its warning level. Although there are still some fuel left, it is best to find a gasoline station.
