When he fails he asks the pig if he wants to visit a area of turnips inside the morning at a certain time. The pig agrees, but within the morning he is going to the field an hour in advance than planned. When the wolf realizes what he has done, he asks the pig to move somewhere inside the morning again at a positive time. This happens two more instances before the wolf attempts to head down the chimney, where the pig has a boiling pot of water hanging over a fire. The wolf drops into it
