Answer:

Use the formula SA=2×length×width+2 length× height+2×height×width. With this I believe your answer should be 13.5. Sorry if it's wrong since the answer choices don't line up but thats the only way it makes sense for me.

If Max makes 45 out of 60 shots with the basketball, how many would you expect him to make if he only shot the basketball 15 tim
exis [7]

Answer:

11

Step-by-step explanation:

Probability of Max making a shot is 45/60=¾

Here, probability, p=¾ or 0.75

The trials n=15

E=np where E is expectation

Now, when the shots out of 15 trials will be given by np=15*¾=11.25 shots

Rounded off to the nearest interger, this is approximately 11 shots.

Therefore, the possible number of shots in 15 trials for Max is equivalent to 11

The area of a trapezium is 35cm2.find its altitude if the bases is 6cm and 8cm
r-ruslan [8.4K]

Answer: altitude: 5 cm

Explanation:

\sf \dfrac{1}{2} ( a + b) h = Area \ of \ trapezium

[ <u>a and b are bases, h is the altitude</u> ]

Here given:

  • Area = 35
  • a = 6
  • b = 8
  • h = ?

Solve for altitude:

\sf \rightarrow \sf \dfrac{1}{2} ( 6 + 8) h = 35 \ \ \ \Rightarrow \ \ \ \dfrac{1}{2} ( 14) h = 35 \ \ \ \ \Rightarrow \ \ \ \ 7 h = 35 \ \ \ \ \Rightarrow \ \ h = \dfrac{35}{7} \ = \ 5
