I see that you only need help now with the proportional part. Number one is non-proportional and number two is proportional

I know I got the last one wrong, so I will hopefully get this one right

I am not that great with Proportional and Not Proportional, but

1. Y is 0.5 times x

2. Y is 1.5 times x

The answer is A:

Because the only difference between the rest of the answer choices are the lower and upper quartiles, that is all you need to find. In order to do so you find the median for the first half (lower quartile) and then find the median for the second half. In this case it is 29 (Q1) and 58 (Q2)

Explain why segments connecting any pair of corresponding vertices of congruent pentagons are congruent. make a sketch to suppor
Veronika [31]

Answer:

Congruence between pentagons

Step-by-step explanation:

The relationship occurs because having two congruent Pentagons and generating a segment within them (or outside), congruence is extrapolated to the triangles generated within them. Thus, if there is congruence among the pentagons, it will exist between the formed triangles. In other words since the two pentagons are congruent, the corresponding angle pair is congruent. also the two corresponding side pairs are also congruent.

In the attached image for example, the ABCDE and KLMNO pentagons are congruent, so all of their internal division lines are also congruent (AC and KM)

If anyone knows the answer to these can u please help? thank you! :)
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answers:

  • A) Ray QS or Ray QR
  • B)  Line segment QS or SQ
  • C)  Plane QSR
  • D)  Line QS or RQ

=======================================================

Explanation:

Part A)

When naming a ray, always start at the endpoint. This is the first letter and we'll start with point Q.

The second letter is the point that is on the ray where the ray aims at. We have two choices S and R as they are both on the same ray. That's why we can name this Ray QS and Ray QR.

--------------------

Part B)

A segment is named by its endpoints. The order of the endpoints doesn't matter so that's why segment QS is the same as segment SQ. To me, it seems more natural to read from left to right, so QS seems better fitting (again the order doesn't matter).

--------------------

Part C)

When forming a plane, you need 3 noncollinear points. The term "collinear" means the points all fall on the same line. So these three points cannot all fall on the same straight line. In other words, we must be able to form a triangle of some sort.

So that's how we get the name "Plane QSR". The order of the letters doesn't matter.

--------------------

Part D)

To name a line, we just need to pick two points from it. Any two will do. The order doesn't matter. So that's how we get Line QS and Line RQ as two aliases for this same line. It turns out that there are 6 different ways to name this line.

  1. Line QR
  2. Line QS
  3. Line RQ
  4. Line RS
  5. Line SQ
  6. Line SR

Beth plays a video game in which she starts with 0 points. In round 1, she losses 31/2 points in round 2, she wins 281/2 points
Thepotemich [5.8K]

Answer:

21\frac{1}{2} \ or\ 21.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

Initial score of Beth = 0

Round 1 scores:

Points lost = 3\frac{1}{2} = 3.5

Round 2 scores:

Points won = 28\frac{1}{2}=28.5

Round 3 scores:

Points lost = 3\frac{1}{2} = 3.5

To find:

The final score of Beth in the video game = ?

Solution:

Let us calculate the total points lost and total points won by Beth in the video game.

Then we will subtract the total points lost from the total points won to find the final score in the video game.

Total points won = 28.5

Total points lost = 3.5 + 3.5 = 7

So, final score = Total points won - Total points lost

Final score = 28.5 - 7 = <em>21.5</em> or \bold{21\frac{1}{2}}
