Answer:

Explanation:

DNA polymerases are the enzymes that build DNA in cells. DNA polymerase also proofread their work to check for any error the process of which is called proof reading.

If the polymerase detects that an Incorrectly paired nucleotide has been added, it will remove (splicing) and replace the nucleotide with the correct one before it continues with DNA synthesis.

Mismatch repairing also corrects other errors that omit proofreading. They fix mismatched base pairs, replace some insertion and deleted base pair that can result into mutations.

When an error is corrected the rate of mutation is reduced this is because mutation results from error during the DNA formation process either through Insertion of a wrong nitrogenous base, or deletion leading to formation of an entirely new amino acid sequence that result into abnormal phenotype.

What does she need from the food she ate and the air she breathes so that she can go on her run? How do Rosa's body systems work
IgorC [24]

The missing part of the question is as follows:

Rosa eats a peanut butter sandwich for lunch. Peanut butter contains a lot of protein, and bread is mostly starch. Rosa plans to go for a run later this afternoon. Rosa is breathing normally.

Answer:

1. The food she ate is peanut butter and bread, the peanut is rich in protein while the bread is rich in carbohydrate which provides sugar (glucose) by breathing she gets oxygen in a sufficient amount to perform cellular respiration (aerobic) to carry out energy for running. Carbohydrates are a better choice of nutrients befors exercise as carbohydrates provide energy immediately.

Aerobic respiration provides a high amount of energy, 36 ATP to be specific, per cycle of cellular respiration.

2.  The carbohydrates (glucose) and oxygen she gets from food and breathing react together to perform aerobic cellular respiration to carry out maximum energy. By the digestive system and organs of this system, carbohydrates are broken down into glucose which is diffused into the blood.

Oxygen also diffused to blood from the lungs and heart with the help of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems of her body.

3. By the aerobic cellular respiration process takes place in the mitochondria of the cell helps in providing energy from glucose and oxygen by a three-step process:

Glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and oxidative phosphorylation. Here glucose reacts with oxygen. Which ultimately provide 36 ATP molecules for the cell in a run.

Help, I don't get this
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

Letter A represents the greatest potential energy.

Letter C represents the least potential energy.

Letter C represents the greatest kinetic energy.

Letter A represents the least kinetic energy.

Letters A and C represent an equal amount of both potential and kinetic energy.

Explanation:

Potential energy is a put away energy that relies on the overall situation of different pieces of a framework. A spring has progressively potential energy when it is packed or extended. A steel ball has more potential energy raised over the ground than it has in the wake of tumbling to the Earth. In the raised position it can do more work. Potential energy is a property of a framework and not of an individual body or molecule; the framework made out of the Earth and the raised ball, for instance, has progressively potential energy as the two are more distant isolated.\

Kinetic energy is a type of energy that an article or a molecule has by reason of its movement. In the event that work, which moves energy, is done on an item by applying a net power, the article accelerates and along these lines increases kinetic energy. Kinetic energy is a property of a moving item or molecule and depends on its movement as well as on its mass. The sort of movement might be interpretation (or movement along a way starting with one spot then onto the next), turn about a pivot, vibration, or any blend of movements.

5. There are many cases of human disease in which one or another enzyme activity is lacking due to genetic mutation. However, ca
Y_Kistochka [10]

Answer:

The citric acid cycle is fundamental to produce the energy needed for aerobic cell metabolism, thereby mutations in the enzymes involved in this metabolic pathway would be lethal to the individual

Explanation:

In aerobic organisms, the citric acid cycle (also known as the Krebs cycle), is a key metabolic pathway used to remove electrons and uses them in the electron transport chain in order to generate adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy currency of the cell. The citric acid cycle depends on eight enzymes that oxidize acetyl-CoA into two molecules each of carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O). Thus, the citric acid cycle is a series of chemical reactions that are key to breakdown carbohydrates, fats and proteins into CO2 and H2O in order to produce energy (ATP).
