One reason is effective propaganda. movies, tv, news stations, etc are VERY good at portraying america in a positive light. they’re also very good at breeding nationalism and encouraging patriotism which is also a result of effective propaganda as well as using their conflicts to rile up the american people. when 9/11 happened it, america used it to justify mass murder for resources in the middle east.
