Answer:

  • when the signs of the two numbers being multiplied are the same, the product answer would be positive.
  • And when the signs of the two numbers being multiplied are different, the product answer would be negative.

Step-by-step explanation:

Whether a prdocut will be positive or negative really depends on the signs of the two numbers being multiplied.

In other words,

  • when the signs of the two numbers being multiplied are the same, the product answer would be positive.

(positive number) × (positive number) = positive number

(negative number) × (negative number) = positive number

For example, when we multiply the positive numbers 3 and 4, the product will be positive.

i.e. 3 × 4 = 12

Also, when we multiply the negative numbers 3 and 4, the product will again be positive.

i.e. (-3) × (-4) = 12

  • And when the signs of the two numbers being multiplied are different, the product answer would be negative.

(positive number) × (negative number) = negative number

For example, when we multiply the positive number 3 and negative number -4, the product will be negative.

i.e. (3) × (-4) = -12

I hope your concept is clear now.

When we say right triangle, it is a triangle that has at least one angle equal to 90 degrees. In addition, an isosceles triangle can also be considered a right triangle given that it has two sides that are equal. In the given measurements above, the set is not considered as measurements of a right triangle. Therefore, the answer is FALSE. Hope this answer helps.

Write 3.9 as a mixed number?
LiRa [457]

Answer:

3 9/10

Step-by-step explanation:

First the "whole number" part is 3.

The decimal part is 0.9. To convert that, keep the 9. Since the 9 is in the tenths place, it is 9/10.

Add them together: 3+9/10= 3 9/10

Final answer 3 9/10

Hope this helps

Consider the explicit formulas for two sequence
BaLLatris [955]

These are the formulas right?.. I hope so, anyways..

- f(n)= 2^(n-1) -1

- g(n)=3n+6

f(7)=2^{7-1}-1  -  f(7)=2^{6}-1  -  f(7)=64-1  -  f<u>(7) = 63 </u>

g(10)=3\X 10+6  -  g(10)=30+6  -  g<u>(10) = 36</u>

= <u>f(7)>g(10)</u>

I hope that it helped..

Simplify (9y²-x² )÷ (xy+3y²)
alexdok [17]

Step-by-step explanation:

  • \cfrac{(9y²-x² )}{ (xy+3y²)}
  • \cfrac{3 {}^{2} (y) {}^{2}  - x}{3(y {})^{2} + xy }
  • 3 {}^{2 - 1} y {}^{2 - 2 - 1}  - x {}^{2 - 1}
  • 3 y  { }^{ - 1}  - x

  • \cfrac{3}{y}  - x

Therefore,the answer is \cfrac{3}{y}  - x.
