Social Studies

Social evils are the issues that directly or indirectly affect the members of a society and are considered a point of controversy or a problem in regards to moral values. Common social evils include caste system, poverty, dowry system, gender inequality, illiteracy, etc.

Untouchability is a social evil because the backward classes are denied the very fundamental rights, which are guaranteed to each and every citizen by the Constitution. Untouchability alienates people from the social structure and hinders the progress of society as a whole.

Social evil is any pain or suffering brought about by the game-theoretic interactions of many individuals. Social evil is not a natural evil because it is brought about by the choices of individuals. But social evil is not a form of moral evil because each individual actor does not misuse his free will.

If this doesn't help, I'm sorry. Hope you have a good day!

Question: How many Dalmatian puppies are in Pongo and Perdita’s litter?
oee [108]
The correct answer is 15.
Originally, Pongo and Perdita has fifteen puppies in their litter. We only know the names of some of them: Patch, Lucky, Rolly, Penny, Freckles, and Pepper. However, over the course of the movie, Cruella de Vil and her 'gang' steal the puppies in order to make her expensive clothing out of their pelts. Luckily, the 15 puppies manage to get saved, along with 80+ other puppies that were kept in Cruella's captivity - that's why the movie is called 101 Dalmatian.

When making attributions about a worker’s performance, people can assign responsibility to either internal or external factors?
harkovskaia [24]

This is true. Behavior can be described as a mix of internal factors within a person, such as character traits, intelligence, ability and so on, and external factors which are related to the environment. A person can posses the ability, but if the task is too difficult or if he finds that the coworkers are not friendly, he may have difficulty completing it.

5 Analyse the findings and discuss the possible reasons for any observed changes
GREYUIT [131]

The possible reasons for the changes observed in the survey of 2002 are:

Killing oneself.

Drug abuse.

Psychosis.

What is a survey?

In this type of study, a group of individuals are the subjects, and a set of questions is used to elicit specific data from them.

Youth risk behavior changed as a result of the high rate of early deaths, many of which might be attributed to occurrences of self-immolation.

As the youth became involved in substance and drug misuse, there was a rise in health issues and quick behavioral changes.

Many others who had no health problems or fatalities as a result of the stress and abuse caused by these relapsed into psychosis, an abnormal mental condition that makes it impossible to distinguish between what is real and what is not.

Therefore, psychosis, self-immolation, and drug misuse are the modifications that the survey from 2002 has found.
