What is the consequence of a Type II error? A) Concluding that a treatment has an effect when it really does. B) Concluding that
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer:

c)

Explanation:

A type II error refers to the non-rejection of a false null hypothesis (also known as a "false negative" finding or conclusion). This means that the null hypothesis is false and you fail to reject it .

The type II error gives you a false negative conclusion, meaning that it tells you something is false when it's actually true.

Observing the option we have we can conclude that the one that refers to type II error is c) Concluding that a treatment has no effect when it really does (false negative)

Note;

A) and B) show no errors.

D) shows a Type I error where you conclude something is positive when it's actually false.

Explain the difference between the types of muscle contraction.
vodka [1.7K]
There are three types of muscle contraction: concentric, isometric, and eccentric.

Concentric: In a concentric contraction, the muscle tension rises to meet the resistance then remains stable as the muscle shortens. During eccentric contraction, the muscle lengthens as the resistance becomes greater than the force the muscle is producing.

Isometric: An isometric exercise is a form of exercise involving the static contraction of a muscle without any visible movement in the angle of the joint.

Eccentric: An eccentric (lengthening) muscle contraction occurs when a force applied to the muscle exceeds the momentary force produced by the muscle itself, resulting in the forced lengthening of the muscle-tendon system while contracting

Are Insurance plans required to cover infertility services? Why or Why not
GaryK [48]
I don't think that infertility services should be required for coverage on insurance plans, but I do think people should have options to provide themselves with that coverage for an extra premium. A woman would have to elect the additional premium by a certain age (determined by the insurance company), and so long as those premiums are up to date then infertility treatment could be covered. It might actually be a moneymaker for the insurance companies, and provide a sense of security to people who know that having a family will be a priority they will fight for financially if they have to.
