Rewrite the following passage, correcting any problems in subject/verb/antecedent agreement.
irina [24]

I think it is:

Sarah opened her drawer took out the new stationary set. Now that she has finished her chores, she can spend some time writing a letter to her friend Cade. Cade had just moved to a new city a few months ago, but Sarah felt as if he had been gone for a year. Fortunately, they both love writing letters. They even put their own creative touch, a sketch, at the bottom of each letter. They were determined that their friendship would last even if they were far away from each other.

Something like that. I hope this helps.

What is the setting of “Five Hours to Simla? How does the setting affect the mood of the story? How does the setting help convey
Varvara68 [4.7K]
The theme of Five Hours to Simla is the big stuck there is in a 4 mile traffic jam which involves some characters like the prson who is driving the truck that does not move until he gets the person who damaged his vehicle and people annoyed because they want to move from that jam and it is not possible. The mood from this story is based on the feelings that the author is trying to make the reader feel, or the atmosphere the author is trying to create to stir the reader's feelings. Setting, theme, tone, and voice affect the mood of the story which basically is frustration. The setting is based on collision of modern and traditional values of the late 20th century in India where a father and a police focus on keeping things moving but a trucker stops all traffic waiting for justice. Hope this helped :)
