When you're living the good life we can mean that you're living a life that sets you free substantially. Living a life that gives you satisfaction. Living a life that gives you fulfilment. One that adds happiness, joy and even goes ahead to make one's life purposeful one. Living a good life also means to living a life that is worthwhile. That is, a life that makes a contribution, instead of being based on expectations, self reliant and worse of all, totally self-centered.

Three of the things you mentioned have an external reward: the 500 Dollar prize( first option), the credit (third) and the hope of winning a blue ribbon (the last).
Only the second one has an intrinsic motivation: that you will be happy about performing this song (feeling proud of yourself, etc).
