The Harrison Group Life Insurance company computes annual policy premiums based on the age the customer turns in the current cal

endar year. The premium is computed depending on the users age.
If the user is under the age of 50 – it is calculated by taking the decade of the customer’s age, adding 15 to it, and multiplying by 20. For example, a 34-year-old would pay $360, which is calculated by adding the decades (3) to 15, and then multiplying by 20.
If the user is over 50 – it is calculated by taking the decade of the customer’s age, adding 20 to it, and multiplying by 25. For example, a 54-year-old would pay $625, which is calculated by adding the decades (5) to 20, and then multiplying by 25.
Write an application that:

Declares the variables needed.
Prompts a user for their decade age (be clear in the instructions that you want only the 10s or 100s place).
Hits an IF statement that will call on a method named calculaterate and will pass it the decade, the addition number and the multiplier based on that IF statement.
The method should calculate the premium and return it to the main method.
The main will then display it out to the user.
The user will then be asked if they want to enter in another number. (While or Do While – your Choice) in persudo code please

myShoe.type = 'sneaker'

Explanation:

type is a field of the class shoe. The myShoe object which is an instance of the class shoe has the field type also.

To assign a value to type filed of the object myShoe, reference the object then the field as such;

Is the following statement true or false?
Alchen [17]

Answer:

The following statement is True.

Explanation:

Because when we are applying the pair t-test then, take differences of that pair and then treat it as an individual samples. Formula for the test is a statistic and in this case, it is also same as formula in the one-sample of t statistics.

Therefore, it will be an equivalent to the one-sample t-test.

Create a method called randomValues that uses a while loop to generate a random number between 1-25 until the value 10 is genera
ahrayia [7]

Answer:

The method in Java is as follows:

public static void randomValues(){

    Random r = new Random();

    int sentinel = 10;

    int randNum = r.nextInt(24) + 1;

    while(randNum!=sentinel){

        System.out.print(randNum+" ");

        randNum = r.nextInt(24) + 1;

    }

    System.out.print(sentinel);

}

Explanation:

This defines the method

public static void randomValues(){

This creates a random object, r

    Random r = new Random();

This sets the sentinel value to 0

    int sentinel = 10;

This generates a random number

    int randNum = r.nextInt(24) + 1;

This loop is repeated until the the random number is 10

    while(randNum!=sentinel){

Print the generated number

        System.out.print(randNum+" ");

Generated another random number

        randNum = r.nextInt(24) + 1;     }

Print the sentinel (i.e. 10)

    System.out.print(sentinel);

}

Write a C++ programthat returns the type of a triangle (scalene, equilateral,or
bixtya [17]

Answer:

#include<iostream>

using namespace std;

int main(){

   //initialize

   int a, b,c;

   //print the message

   cout<<"Enter the three sides of the triangle: "<<endl;

   //store in the variables

   cin>>a>>b>>c;

   //if-else statement for checking the conditions

   if(a == b && b == c && a == c){

       cout<<"\nThe triangle is equilateral";

   }else if(a != b && b != c && a != c ){

       cout<<"\nThe triangle is scalene";

   }else{

       cout<<"\nThe triangle is isosceles";

   }

   return 0;

}

Explanation:

Create the main function and declare the three variables for the length of the sides of the triangle.

print the message on the screen for the user. Then the user enters the values and its store in the variables a, b, and c.

use the if-else statement for checking the conditions.

Equilateral triangle: all sides of the triangle are equal.

if condition true, print the equilateral triangle.

Scalene triangle: all sides of the triangle are not equal.

if condition true, print the Scalene triangle.

if both conditions is not true, then, the program moves to else part and print isosceles.
