Answer:

We should not lower taxes for the wealthiest Americans because they own and run a lot of companies and businesses that we use. Lower income Americans want their leaders to understand or know what it’s like to be less wealthy so they’ll be more sympathetic towards lower income people and won’t do everything out of the want for more money. If they have to pay lower taxes, then that takes away from their ability to sympathize with lower income homes, and that would upset a lot of people.

Dr. Cash ___________________$104,000

Cr. Common Stock ___________$5,000

Cr. Preferred stock ___________$10,000

Cr. Paid in capital Common Stock $84,000

Cr. Paid in capital Preferred stock $5,000

Explanation:

a.

First, we need to calculate the fair value of each type of shares using the following formula

Fair value  = Numbers of shares x Fair value per share

Fair Value of Common Share = 500 shares x $164 per share = $82,000

Fair value of preferred share = 100 shares x $205 per share = $20,500

Total value of shares = $82,000 + $20,500 = $102,500

Now allocate the Value of $104,000 bases on the fair value

Allocation to

Common stock = $104,000 x $82,000 / $102,500 = $83,200

Preferred stock = $104,000 x $20,500 / $102,500 = $20,800

Now calculate the par values

Par Values

Common stock = 500 shares x $10 = $5,000

Preferred stock = 100 shares x $100 = $10,000

Now calculate the additional paid-in capital

Additional paid-in capital

Common stock = $83,200 - $5,000 = $78,200

Preferred stock = $20,800 - $10,000 = $10,800

b,

Value of common stock = $178 per share x 500 shares = $89,000

Additional paid in capital

Common stock = $89,000 - $5,000 = $84,000

Preferred stock = $104,000 - $89,000 - $10,000 = $10,000

Instead of assigning access for each user account individually, ________ is a more efficient and easier-to-manage approach. Cent
katovenus [111]

Answer:

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

Explanation:

Instead of assigning access for each user account individually, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) is a more efficient and easier-to-manage approach.

In computer systems security, role-based access control or role-based security is an approach to restricting system access to authorized users. <u>It is used by the majority of enterprises with more than 500 employees,</u> and can implement mandatory access control or discretionary access control.

Hence, access need not be assigned for each user individually.

kifflom [539]

A Security Vulnerability is a weakness, flaw, or error found within a security system that has the potential to be leveraged by a threat agent in order to compromise a secure network.

Vulnerability refers to "the great or country of being exposed to the opportunity of being attacked or harmed, either bodily or emotionally." A window of vulnerability (WOV) is a time frame inside which protection measures are faded, compromised, or missing. The expertise of social and environmental vulnerability, as a methodological technique, entails the analysis of the risks and assets of disadvantaged companies, which include the aged. The method of vulnerability in itself brings first-rate expectations of social coverage and gerontological planning. Varieties of vulnerability include social, cognitive, environmental, emotional or navy. When it comes to dangers and failures, vulnerability is an idea that links the relationship that people have with their environment to social forces and establishments and the cultural values that maintain and contest them.

For June 30, Loss on purchase commitment = Signed value of inventory - Market value of inventory = $151,000 - $140,400 = $10,600

For Aug 30, Loss on purchase commitment = Market price of inventory at June 30 - Market value of inventory at August 30 = $140,400 - $120,500 = $19,900

On January 1, 2018, Lowell Corp. acquired 80% of the voting common stock of Boston Inc. During the year, Lowell sold to Boston f
Hitman42 [59]

Answer:

$40,800

Explanation:

The computation of  the net income is shown below:-

With regard to non-controlling interest, Lowell Corp. and the non-controlling interest divided Boston net profits proportionately to their ownership interests.

Non controlling interest share of consolidated net income = Boston net income × Remaining percentage

= $204,000 × (100% - 80%)

= $204,000 × 20%

= $40,800

Therefore for computing the Non controlling interest share of consolidated net income we simply multiply the Boston net income with remaining percentage.
