The rate that is not equivalent to the others is "1 for $0.75".

How to find the rates?

To find the rates, you need to take the quotient between the price and the number of units, these rates, give the value of a single item in dollars.
Here, the four rates are:
- 1) $36/27 = $1.33...
- 2) $4/3 = $1.33...
- 3) $20/15 = $1.33...
- 4) $0.75/1 = $0.75
So we can see that the rate which is not equivalent to the others is the last one (the bottom right one).

Hi!
I think that there is a mistake in your question: only the first student says 5, not each student.
From the second student on, the student will say the previous number +4-1, that is the previous number +3.
So the second student will say 8, third 11, etc...
this will be repeated 9 times when Victor says his number (the first student doesn't have to change anything), so the number will increase 9 times: so it will increase 9*3=27
So Victor will say 32: 27 plus the original 5.
And all the numbers said will be:
5
8
11
14
17
20
23
26
29
32 - Victor

Turn the 50 into a fraction (50/1) then cross multiply the fractions after that turn it into a equivalent fraction and you you get your answer
