Which artists intentionally used their work to shape the public's view of prominent figures?
daser333 [38]
<span>Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun was a prominent woman who was a personal painter for Marie Antoinette and did many portraits of her during her service which helped shape the publics view of the Queen. Jacques-Louis David was a painter around the time of the French revolution who painted both prominent events and figures. He would eventually become appointed as Napoleon's painter and helped shape the publics view of him since. This is a pattern that is repeated in a design.
soldi70 [24.7K]
The answer is motif :) any reoccurring theme, pattern, idea, image etc. in a work applies to this.
for example, an artist that includes flowers in across all of their work (or a series of it) would be depicting a floral motif. I hope this helps!!

In theatre, when you act mad at someone, what movement can your body make, so your not just standing there?
Sonja [21]
It depends on what type of mad reaction you're looking for. you could;
1. Clench your fists and maybe stomp your foot if you're looking for an exaggerated, maybe even comical display of anger
2. turn away slightly and grab your head/hair in a slightly hysterical anger
3. Shake your fist at them
4. Cross your arms over your chest
Or some combination of those things, I hope that gives you some ideas!
