Answer:

-8/7 slope

Step-by-step explanation:

so first u need to figure out the y=mx+b of ur equation 8x+7y=-28 to make it easier on urself yk. so first you get the y by it self and change it to become 7y= -8x-28 you do this by dragging the 8x to the other side which makes it negative since ur switching sides. now u divide each number by 7 since the 7y is by itself. doing this u get y= -8/7x-4. basically parallel = same slope so you will keep ur same slope or m as -8/7  and now all u need to find is b but in ur question u didnt give coordinates so irdk but ur answer has to have the -8/7 slope

PLZ HELP
Gnesinka [82]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The highest power of x here is 3, so this is a third degree polynomial.  Since the coefficient of the highest power term is +, we know that the graph approximates that of the parent function y = x^3, and that this graph begins in Quadrant III, enters Quadrant I and continues to move upward in Quadrant I.

Determine the domain and range for the relation in interval notation.
Vanyuwa [196]
Move from left to right to find the domain.

Domain: -4 to 2 which is [-4,2]

*For domain and range, brackets are used to indicate that values like -4 and 2 are included in the solution set.

Move from bottom to top to find the range.

Range: -3 to 3 which is [-3,3]

Locate the vertical asymptotes, and sketch the graph of y = sec (x - π) + 3.
8_murik_8 [283]
Since secant is the inverse of cosine function, when the cosine function has a 'zero' the secant will have a vertical asymptote.

Graphing a cosine with a right shift of pi, the zeros would be at pi and 2pi.
This will make the vertical asymptotes of the secant function be at pi and 2pi.

I hope you understand.
